How To Make Oven Baked Ribs
STEP ONE – Preheat oven to 300 degrees F
STEP TWO – In a small bowl combine all the dry ingredients. Set aside.
STEP THREE – Unwrap ribs. Using a small knife, remove the thin membrane along the back side of the ribs. A paper towel will help get a hold of the membrane.
STEP FOUR – Next, rub half of the dry mixture on the back side of the ribs. Flip them over and place on a sheet of aluminum foil, rub in the remaining mixture on the top of the ribs. Wrap them in aluminum foil.
STEP FIVE – Coat a 12 x 15 baking pan with non-stick spray and line with aluminum foil (for easier clean-up). Place a cooling rack on top (for air circulation). Place wrapped ribs on rack and place in the oven.
STEP SIX – Cook for 3 hours.
STEP SEVEN – Remove from oven and carefully unwrap the top of the foil.
STEP EIGHT – Change oven setting to broil.
STEP NINE – Brush the tops of the ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce. Place ribs under the broiler for 2-3 minutes. Watch CAREFULLY because they can quickly go from crispy to burnt.
Storage & Reheating:
Store leftovers either in an airtight container or wrapped in aluminum foil.
Ribs reheat nicely on a foil lined pan in the oven at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. You can also reheat them in the microwave or air fryer.
