Mushroom Swiss Burger Sliders

Is there any better than warm sandwiches with melted cheese – are you thinking game day snack too?! These tasty sliders will be ready in 20 minutes or less just in time for kick off!

These easy Hawaiian roll sliders feature loose ground beef and chopped mushrooms topped with Swiss cheese and bacon bits on buttery Hawaiian rolls.

This might just be one of the best slider recipes I’ve eaten!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef 
  • ½ yellow onion, diced
  • 1 Tablespoon hamburger seasoning 
  • 1 ½ teaspoon garlic powder, divided
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4-5 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 12 Slider rolls (we used King’s Hawaiian) 
  • 2 Tablespoons butter

How to Make Mushrooom Swiss Cheese Sliders

STEP ONE – Preheat the oven to 350 °F.

STEP TWO – In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, onion, hamburger seasoning, and 1 tsp garlic powder. Cook until no longer pink, breaking up meat as it cooks.

STEP THREE – Slice the rolls in half, then add them into a casserole dish.

Loose meat is added to the top of the cheese on slider rolls.
Mushrooms are adde don top of the sliders.

STEP FOUR – Top rolls with 6 slices of cheese.

STEP FIVE – Evenly distribute the ground beef mixture on top of the cheese, then the mushrooms. Top with the remaining 6 slices of cheese.

STEP FIVE – Cover with the top half of the rolls.

Swiss cheese is added to the top of the sliders.
Top of slider roll buns is aded to the sliders.

STEP SIX – Melt the butter, then add the remaining ½ tsp of garlic powder. Brush mixture over the top of the rolls.

STEP SEVEN – Cover the dish with foil, transfer to the oven, and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil, and bake for an additional 3 minutes.

STEP EIGHT – Cut into 12 sliders. Serve warm, and enjoy!

Storage & Reheating Instructions

Storage: Allow sliders to cool to room temperature, then wrap in plastic wrap, aluminum foil, or place them in an airtight conainer in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.

Reheating: Preheat oven to 350°F. Place sliders on baking sheet, covered loosely with foil. Reheat for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melty and the sliders are heated through.

1 lb lean ground beef

1/2 yellow onion, diced

1 Tablespoon hamburger seasoning

1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, divided

12 slices Swiss cheese

45 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced

12 Slider rolls (we used King’s Hawaiian)

2 Tablespoons butter

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
