    GREAT FOR GIFT GIVING

Herbed Beer Bread Mix in a plastic bag with a can of beer beside it. There is a Christmas gift bag bedside the can of beer indicating that they could all be put together as a gift item.

Herbed Beer Bread Mix is a great food gift idea for the holiday season or any time of year! Also a great thing to sell at a bake sale!

In the photo above, I used a 5.5" wide by 9.5" high plastic zippered bag for the mix.

I use a tall container or glass and a wide-mouth plastic funnel which made it easier to scoop the mix into the bags.

Package it up with a can of beer in a gift bag with the mix and you have a lovely hostess gift or gift for any occasion.

Either variation is delicious with a hot bowl of soup or as a side for dinner. Add it to a charcouterie board for another tasty option.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR Everything Bagel Seasoning & Cheddar Beer Bread

You can often find Everything Bagel Seasoning in the spice section in the grocery store or you can make it yourself by simply stirring the ingredients in a bowl. How easy is that?! The recipe is included in the recipe card below.

Three glass bowls sitting on a wooden board. One containing ingredients for beer bread, the smaller bowl contains Everything Bagel Seasoning and the third bowl has shredded cheddar cheese.

    Honey Butter

Honey butter is quick and easy to make and delicious spread on the baked Beer Bread. To make the honey butter, in a small mixing bowl combine butter, honey and vanilla and stir well to combine.

Everything Bagel Seasoning Mix (makes approximately ⅓ cup of mix)

This will make close to ⅓ cup of seasoning. You will only need 1 tbsp. plus 2 tsp. (optional to sprinkle on top of the loaf)  of the seasoning to mix into the bread and 2 tsp. to sprinkle on top with the cheese.

Leftover seasoning may be stored in an airtight container for up to six months.

Cheddar and Everything Bagel Beer Bread

    1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine bread mix, 1 tbsp. of Everything Bagel Seasoning and ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese.

    2. Add 1 can (355mL/1 and ½ cups) of beer at room temperature to the Beer Bread Mix and stir just until combined.

    3. Pour into a greased 8x4-inch loaf pan.

    4. Bake in 375°F oven for 40 - 45 minutes or until crusty and golden brown.

    5. Let stand in pan for 5 minutes. Remove and place on wire cooling rack.

Store leftover bread wrapped in plastic wrap in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 days.
