The playful brownies decorated with Christmas tree’s and Santa hats are easy to make, but also bring an instant holiday cheer to any occasions.

With fresh fruit, Christmas candy and Christmas popcorn as the centerpiece, this fun treat board offers a delightful mix of light and sweet options to please everyone.

The best part is I used a convenient store bought brownie mix for a simple board that is easy to customize with your favorite snacks, making it a guaranteed hit at family gatherings or parties.

Serve it with my homemade peppermint hot chocolate or white hot chocolate for a wonderful warm and comforting movie night with the family or friends!

Substitution & Variation Ideas: You can also use my Christmas popcorn crunch recipe, strawberry cheesecake dip, marshmallow fluff fruit dip or my Little Debbies Christmas Tree cake dip as centrepieces on the holiday grazing board. How To Make Santa Hat Dessert Board

Step One – To make the Christmas popcorn line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Add the popcorn, cereal and marshmallows into a large bowl to combine. Melt the wafers according to package directions and drizzle onto the popcorn mixture. Spread the mixture out onto the baking sheet. Sprinkle with red and green sanding sugar and allow to cool.

Step Two – Transfer to your serving dish and add the M&Ms on top.

Step Three – To make the brownies trees and Santa hats, cut the brownies into triangles according to the picture.*

Step Four – Next make the frosting by adding the butter to a large mixing bowl. With a hand or stand mixture, beat on medium speed for 1 minute. Slowly add the powdered sugar and heavy cream. Pause to scrape the bowl and continue to mix until a smooth and fluffy frosting has formed.

Step Five – Divide the frosting into 3 different bowls. Add green food coloring in one, red food coloring to another and leave the last one as is. Mix the frostings and add them each to their own piping bags.

Step Six – Pipe half the brownies as Christmas trees and add the mini M&Ms to decorate the tree. Decorate the other half as Santa hats with the red and white frosting.

Step Seven – Assemble the board with the popcorn in the middle and Santa hats and Christmas trees on the corners. Fill in the empty space with grapes, strawberries, raspberries, marshmallows and red and green M&Ms.

There will be excess brownies not cut into perfect triangles. You should have 10 perfectly cut triangles.

Dessert Grazing Board Base Tips!

I used a wood chopping block as a base, you can also use different sized cutting boards of all shapes, a baking sheet or a cake stand. You can use a large serving tray or parchment paper on a table for larger boards.
