Cold Italian Sliders

This easy Cold Italian Sliders recipe has the most delicious deli meats of salami, pepperoni, and ham. Seasoned with Italian seasonings, topped with provolone cheese and everyone’s favorite sub sauce. Perfect at any gatherings for an easy to eat lunch or dinner, or as a fun appetizer at parties.

Italian sub sliders

Skip the sub shop and make your own sliders in 15 minutes with the best ingredients to suit your tastes.

The flavor combination of Italian meats, deli cheese, seasonings and submarine sauce in a soft slider bun, are so easy to serve and enjoy at parties, summer picnics and get togethers.

Ingredients

  • Slider Rolls – 12 pack of slider rolls, you can use your favorite slider rolls like sweet Hawaiian rolls or regular slider rolls
  • Genoa Salami
  • Pepperoni
  • Ham
  • Provolone Cheese
  • Tomatoes – sliced
  • Onion – sliced, use you favorite onion like red, sweet or yellow
  • Lettuce – Iceberg lettuce
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Submarine Sauce

Variations: Use your favorite condiments or serve them on the side like black pepper, mayonnaise, pickles and olives

How to make Italian sub sliders

STEP ONE – Slice the tomatoes and onion.

STEP TWO – Slice the entire package of rolls in half using one cut.

STEP THREE – Put the bottom layer of rolls on a tray or in a pan.

STEP FOUR – Layer the genoa salami slices, pepperoni slices, and ham.

STEP FIVE – Top the meat layer with provolone cheese slices.

STEP SIX – Next top with tomato slices, onion slices, and shredded lettuce.

STEP SEVEN – Sprinkle Italian seasoning all over the sliders.

STEP EIGHT – Drizzle with submarine dressing.

STEP NINE – Put the top layer of rolls on.

STEP TEN – Cut into 12 sections and serve. Enjoy!!

Storage instructions

Best enjoyed the same day but store any leftovers ingredients separately in their own airtight containers in the fridge for 2 to 3 days as made up sliders will get too mushy.

Ingredients

12 pack slider rolls

8 slices genoa salami

24 slices pepperoni

8 slices ham

8 slices provolone cheese

2 medium slicer tomatoes

1/2 onion

1 1/2 cups lettuce, shredded

1 1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning

2 tbsp submarine dressing


Instructions

  1. Slice the tomatoes and onion.
  2. Slice the entire package of rolls in half using one cut.
  3. Put the bottom layer of rolls on a tray or in a pan.
  4. Layer the genoa salami slices, pepperoni slices, and ham.
  5. Top the meat layer with provolone cheese slices.
  6. Next top with tomato slices, onion slices, and shredded lettuce.
