Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- Easy shortcut recipe: Canned biscuits and apple pie filling make this incredibly simple to put together.
- Loaded with apple cinnamon flavor: Every pull-apart layer is coated in buttery cinnamon sugar and filled with sweet apples.
- Perfect for fall: Serve it warm for breakfast, brunch or dessert during apple season and the holidays.
Ingredients You’ll Need

- 1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury Flaky Layer Biscuits
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 21 oz can apple pie filling
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tbsp milk
Step By Step Instructions

STEP ONE – Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving enough overhang on the sides to make the baked loaf easier to lift out.
STEP TWO – Separate each biscuit into two thinner layers to make 16 biscuit pieces. Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces and set aside.

STEP THREE – Stir the sugar and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl. Pour the melted butter into a separate shallow bowl.
STEP FOUR – Dip each biscuit piece into the melted butter, coating both sides, then coat generously with the cinnamon sugar mixture.

STEP FIVE – Lay one coated biscuit flat and spoon a small amount of apple pie filling over the top. Add another coated biscuit and more apple filling, repeating to create small stacks. Making stacks of about four biscuit pieces at a time makes them easier to handle.
STEP SIX – Turn each biscuit stack on its side and arrange them in the prepared loaf pan. Continue adding the stacks until the pan is comfortably filled. Do not pack the biscuits too tightly or they may not bake through in the center.
STEP SEVEN – Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until the biscuits are cooked through and no longer doughy in the center. The top will become golden brown as it bakes.

STEP EIGHT – In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon of milk. Add a little more milk as needed until the glaze reaches a smooth, drizzleable consistency.
STEP NINE – Drizzle the glaze over the warm apple cinnamon biscuit loaf. Serve and enjoy.
