Here’s Why You’ll Love These Fall Treats
- These chocolate covered caramel apple slices are much easier to serve and eat than traditional caramel apples, making them perfect for parties and family gatherings.
- Made with just a handful of simple ingredients, they’re quick to assemble and look impressive on a dessert table or fall snack board.
- The combination of crisp apples, creamy caramel, smooth chocolate, and crunchy pecans creates the perfect sweet and salty bite that’s always a crowd favorite.
Ingredients You’ll Need

- 3 large Granny Smith apples
- 10 oz milk chocolate melting wafers
- 3/4 cup caramel baking bits
- 1 tbsp heavy cream
- ½-3/4 cup white chocolate melting wafers
- ½ cup chopped pecans
Step by Step Instructions

STEP ONE – Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
STEP TWO – Slice the very ends off each apple, then slice each side just to the core. You’ll have two ½-¾ inch apple slices per apple.
STEP THREE – Insert a popsicle stick into the bottom center (use a knife to help make a hole if needed) and push it about halfway through.
STEP FOUR – Pat both sides of the apples dry.
STEP FIVE – Melt the chocolate, then dip the apples, using a spoon to help if needed. Allow excess chocolate to drip off, then set on parchment paper. Do not allow the apples to touch.
STEP SIX – Chill for 5-10 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

STEP SEVEN – Add the caramel and heavy cream to a microwave safe bowl and heat in 30 second intervals, stirring well between each heating session, until fully melted. Allow to cool slightly, then drizzle over the apple slices.

STEP EIGHT – Melt the white chocolate, then drizzle over the caramel and immediately sprinkle pecans before the chocolate can set.
STEP NINE – Chill for 10 minutes, then enjoy!
