Little Smokies in Grape Jelly

These smokies should not taste so good for how little effort they take to make. The chilli sauce and grape jelly combine for a terrific sauce that is sweet and tangy with a hint of spice.

The jelly sauce helps to keep the little smokies juicy and tender while it coats each sausage with a delicious glaze.

Wow your guests with this simple little smokies recipe that delivers maximum flavor for a fun and irresistible Super Bowl snack that always go fast!

Serve them with my appetizers like pizza poppers, pizza dip, white queso dip, Rosalyn Carter’s cheese ring, chicken bacon ranch wonton cups and air fryer buffalo chicken wings.

  • Little Smokies – 28 oz package of precooked smokies, I used Hillshire Farm lit’l smokies
  • Chilli Sauce – 12 oz bottle of chilli sauce
  • Grape Jelly – I used Welch’s concord grape jelly but use your favorite one
  • Parsley for an optional garnish

I love making these little smoked sausages in the crock pot that also helps to keep them warm (use warm setting) for serving at Thanksgiving or Christmas parties. You can also serve them on a plate with toothpicks in them for easy eating.

Variations: You can add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of brown sugar to this little smokies recipe in the slow cooker that has a richer, sweeter flavor. Make these little smokies in bbq sauce in the crockpot by using your favorite bbq sauce or making a homemade one with or without the grape jelly.

How To Make Little Smokies in Crockpot

Directions:
Spray your crockpot with non-stick spray, and add the little smokies.
Add the grape jelly, and the chili sauce, and stir.
Cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until the jelly has melted and the little smokies are hot.

Storage Instructions

Store any leftovers (I never have any) in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
