Ingredients & Substitutions
This recipe uses simple ingredients that you can typically find in the grocery store.

- wonton wrappers - you can typically find them in the deli section, freezer section and sometimes, the produce section in the grocery store.
- shredded chicken - you can use rotisserie chicken or any cooked chicken.
- cream cheese - softened at room temperature.
- cheddar cheese - use mild or sharp cheddar or you can substitute with mozzarella cheese. We use shredded cheddar cheese and love the sharp for best flavor.
- bacon bites - use bacon bites or cook some crispy bacon.
- sour cream - we used full fat sour cream, or you can use a lightened up version.
- ranch seasoning packet
- fresh parsley - alternatively, you can top the wonton cups with chopped green onions.
- optional toppings - blue cheese crumbles, crumbled feta cheese
Step by step instructions - How to make chicken bacon ranch wontons

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray muffin tins with cooking spray.

Place a wonton wrapper in each of the prepared muffin cup. Gently press down and to the sides to form a cup.
Bake in 350°F oven for 8 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, bacon and ranch dressing mix. Stir to combine.

Divide the mixture evenly among the wonton cups.

Sprinkle with extra cheddar cheese and bacon.
Bake at 350°F for 7 seven minutes. Wontons corners will be golden brown.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
Storage Instructions
Store cooled wonton cups in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a few days.

Store the jalapeno wonton poppers tightly wrapped in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
The cooked appetizers can also be frozen. Wrap the fully cooled wonton cups carefully in Press & Seal or plastic wrap, place in a freezer bag, and freeze for up to 2 months.

12 wonton wrappers
1 cup shredded chicken
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
⅔ cup cheddar cheese, shredded (divided, setting aside 2 Tablespoons)
½ cup bacon bits (bacon pieces), (divided, setting aside 2 teaspoons)
⅓ cup sour cream
1 oz packet ranching seasoning
Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
