Chili Cheese Dog Sliders

These Chili Cheese Dog Sliders are the perfect crowd pleaser. They combine all the best parts of a classic chili dog with soft pull apart slider buns for a fun and delicious twist. Each one is filled with juicy hot dogs, rich and savory chili, melted cheese, and topped with a buttery toasted finish. This game day party food idea is guaranteed to disappear fast!

Once you’ve browned the smoked sausagae, these sliders come together quickly. We’ve used canned chili dog sauce, but you can certainlly make your own or use leftover chili!

Whether it’s game day, a backyard potluck, or just a casual lunch at home, these Chili Cheese Dog Sliders are always a crowd favorite.

Ingredients

1 package of Hawaiian Rolls 

2 (13 oz.) packages of Smoked Sausage 

2 cups of Chilli Dog Sauce 

1 cup of Shredded Cheddar Cheese 

½ of a Red Onion Chopped 

Mustard 

1 tablespoon of Melted Butter 

Dried Chives (for topping)

Step by Step Instructions

Cooked sausage is sliced and place on top of sliced sliders.

STEP ONE – Start by slicing your rolls in half, long ways, so you have a top and bottom. Set down in a greased casserole dish. 

STEP TWO – Brown up your smoked sausage. I cut mine long ways and then in two inch slices. 

STEP THREE – Lay your browned sausage on top of the bottom half of your rolls. Flat side up. Covering everything. 

Chili is spread on top of sausage.
Shredded cheese is sptrad on top of chili.
Chopped red onions and mustard are sprinkled on top of the shreded cheese.

STEP FOUR – Top with your chili sauce, shredded cheese, and diced onion. Drizzle with mustard, as much as your little heart desires. 

STEP FIVE – Top with the top half of your rolls, and brush on your melted butter. 

STEP SIX – Bake at 375 degrees, for about 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden. Top with dried chives. 

Slice them up, serve, and enjoy!

Storage Instructions

Let the sliders cool completely, then transfer them to an airtight container. You can store them in the fridge for up to 3 days

Reheating Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Place sliders on a baking sheet and ocver loosely with foil. Heat for 10 to 15 minutes.
