Cuban Sliders With Hawaiian Rolls

Sliders are amazing and easy for parties! We love these Cuban ones because it mixes things up from the sliders we typically see (i.e., buffalo or BBQ pork) they are perfect for game day, superbowl parties, and they have a tropical vibe for parties or dinners during the summer months.
Ingredients You’ll Need
12 Hawaiian rolls
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup yellow mustard
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
2 cups pulled pork
1/2 pound ham, deli sliced
1/2 pound Swiss cheese, deli sliced
1 cup dill pickle chips
2 tablespoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon minced dried onion
Step by Step Instructions
STEP ONE – Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Slice the top half of the Hawaiian rolls off and set aside. Place the bottom half on a baking sheet.
STEP TWO – In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, mustard, and cayenne. Spread evenly onto the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls.
STEP THREE – Add the pulled pork on top in an even layer, followed by the ham and Swiss cheese. Top with pickle chips in a single layer. Place the top half of the rolls back on top.
STEP FOUR – Add the minced dried onion to the melted butter and brush on top of the rolls using a pastry brush until generously covered. Cover with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes.
STEP FIVE – Remove the foil and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly toasted. Remove from the oven and cut sliders with a sharp knife before serving.
Storage, Freezing & Make-Ahead Instructions
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Place in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Reheat in the microwave or in the oven at 350 for about 20 minutes (without thawing).
You can also make ahead! Prepare sliders according to original directions and store in the freezer in an airtight container. Thaw overnight or bake from frozen (baking times may vary).
