The first time I tried cornbread with honey butter I thought where have you been all my life. It’s that good!!

Butter is already a great pairing with cornbread but honey butter takes it to another level of deliciousness.

It is so versatile to use in both sweet and savory dishes and enhances a wide range of foods.

Ingredients for honey butter in bowls on counter.
  • Butter – 1 cup of unsalted butter at room temperature, if you prefer to use salted butter do not add the salt until you taste the butter to see if you think it is needed for your tastes
  • Honey – you can also use maple syrup which I find to be just as good but with a maple flavoring
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Salt

Optional Garnish

  • Ground Cinnamon for a garnish or you can make a Texas Roadhouse Copycat recipe of honey cinnamon butter by adding 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon in this recipe
  • Honey – drizzle a little bit of extra honey on top as a garnish or for more sweetness
