French Dip Sliders On Hawaiian Rolls
I absolutely love sliders! They’ve been one of my favorite treats for years, and while we make all kinds, these French Dip Sliders have to be my top pick. With juicy roast beef, soft slider buns, caramelized onions, and melty provolone, each bite is packed with flavor. Dunk them in au jus and you’ve got a game-changing snack or meal.

Ingredients You’ll Need

3 Tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 medium onion, sliced thin
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon. pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme
12 sweet Hawaiian rolls
12 slices provolone cheese
1 lb. sliced deli roast beef
1 1/2 Tablespoons onion soup mix
1/2 cup melted butter
3 cups water
1 packet au jus gravy mix
Step By Step Instructions



STEP ONE – Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
STEP TWO – Take the Hawaiian rolls and carefully cut in half, separating the tops from the bottoms. Set aside.
STEP THREE – In a large skillet, melt the 3 tbsp. butter.
STEP FOUR – Add the sliced onions, and cook over medium high heat, until onions are caramelized.
STEP FIVE – Sprinkle the onions with the salt, pepper, and thyme.
STEP SIX – To assemble the sliders, start by adding a layer of 6 slices of provolone cheese to the bottom Hawaiian rolls.



STEP SEVEN – Add the roast beef.
STEP EIGHT – Add the caramelized onions.
STEP NINE – Add another layer of cheese.
STEP TEN – Add the roll tops on top.

STEP ELEVEN – Combine the onion soup mix and melted butter in a small bowl, then brush the tops of the rolls with the butter mixture.
STEP TWELVE – Very loosely cover the sliders with foil, and bake for 25 minutes.
STEP THIRTEEN – Meanwhile, prepare the au jus gravy, according to package directions.
STEP FOURTEEN – Remove the foil from the sliders, and bake 5 minutes more.
STEP FIFTEEN – Cut the sliders to separate and enjoy!

Notes
Storage Instructions: Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat loosely covered with foil in a baking dish in a 325F oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
