Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders

These Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders pack all the flavor of a classic burger into a quick, crowd pleasing pull apart tray. With juicy seasoned beef, melted cheddar and crispy bacon on soft Hawaiian rolls, they’re an easy win for game day, parties or busy weeknights.

These sliders are all about big flavor with minimal effort. The seasoned beef stays juicy, the cheddar melts into every bite and the bacon adds the perfect salty crunch. They bake up hot, golden and ready to serve, making them one of those foolproof recipes you’ll reach for every time you need something easy and satisfying.

Ingredients

1.5 lbs lean ground beef (85/15)

½ large onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

⅓ cup secret sauce or burger sauce

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon garlic powder

8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

12 count King’s Hawaiian dinner rolls

12 slices cheddar cheese, divided

3 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon dijon mustard

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Sesame seeds, for topping the buns

Step By Step Instructions

STEP ONE – Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

STEP TWO – In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the ground beef with onions and garlic until beef is browned and no longer pink. Use a spatula to break the meat apart. Drain any excess grease.

STEP THREE – In a large bowl, combine the browned beef, secret sauce, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Mix and then set aside.

STEP FOUR – In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Crumble into smaller pieces and set aside.

STEP FIVE – Use a bread knife to slice the buns in half horizontally across then place the bottom buns onto the prepared baking sheet.

STEP SIX – Add 6 slices of cheddar cheese in an even layer, top it with the ground beef mixture, add the remaining 6 slices of cheese on top, then spread the bacon in an even layer over the cheese. Place the top buns back on.

STEP SEVEN – In a small bowl, add the butter, dijon mustard, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Microwave for 10 seconds, just until melted. Stir to combine.

STEP EIGHT – Brush the butter mixture evenly on top of the buns. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

STEP NINE – Tent with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove the foil and then bake for an additional 5 minutes if needed to toast the buns.

STEP TEN – Serve as is or with optional add-ins like pickles, red onions, tomatoes, and shredded lettuce.
