Do I need to thaw the frozen vegetables?

No! Add them right to the soup mixture and bake as directed. The frozen vegetables will cook in the soup mixture.

Taste before seasoning with salt & pepper. You can buy low-sodium cream soup and then add salt. You may find that you don’t need to add salt with regular cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soup. I always recommend pepper though.

  1. Love this easy to make chicken tater tot casserole. We love tater tots so it’s great to enjoy them in a casserole. So easy for dinner and to have leftovers the next night is so amazing and convenient. Thanks!

  2. My husband and I enjoyed this, and actually omitted the chicken and used more vegetables. A quick but filling weeknight dinner that’s very similar to pot pie. Even with omitting the salt and using reduced sodium condensed soup it tasted a bit salty, so be mindful of that if you’re watching your sodium intake.
