Spicy Ranch Saltines

These Alabama hot crackers are an easy snack food to make with no baking and the balance of spice, tang, and crunch turns a simple saltine cracker into a next-level delicious treat!

They’re great on their own but are more than just a snack as they are perfect to feed a crowd paired with cheese, dips, or even as a topping for chili and soups adding another layer of flavor.

I love to serve them at parties or family gatherings with my caramelized onion dip, guacamole, spinach and artichoke dip and my jalapeño popper cheese ball.

Sandra’s Tips

  • If the bag doesn’t get flipped/rotated at least once when resting, some crackers might end up more oily than others. It’s not a huge deal, but they definitely turn out more even if rotated.
  • I tend to transfer the crackers to a clean baggie/container after they’re finished soaking in the flavors. Makes for a cleaner snack time.

Storage Instructions

Store these crackers in a sealed container or baggie for up to 1 week. I do not suggest refrigerating or freezing these.
