Description

Alabama Fire Crackers are a classic snack recipe that’s been around for decades and for good reason! Packed full of spicy and ranch flavor, coupled with a satisfying crunch, makes these spicy crackers irresistible.  Enjoy them as a game day snack, holiiday appetizer or a fun side to spice up a hot bowl of soup!

Ingredients

1 Box Saltines (16 ounces)

1 1/2 Cups Canola Oil

2 Tablespoons Crushed Red Pepper

2 Ranch Seasoning Packets (1 ounce each)

2 Teaspoons Granulated Garlic

1 Teaspoon Ground Pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the seasonings and oil in a gallon size ziploc baggie.
  2. Close the bag and thoroughly mix the ingredients in the bag by massaging it by hand.
  3. Open the bag and add the crackers.
  4. Seal and gently rotate the bag so that all the crackers get coated.
  5. Leave the bag to rest overnight, flipping the bag once after an hour, if possible. Enjoy!

Notes

Storage instructions: Store these crackers in a sealed container or baggie for up to 1 week. I do not suggest refrigerating or freezing these.
