4th Of July Fruit Salad

Made with a mix of strawberries, blueberries, and crisp apples, this festive fruit salad is as easy to throw together as it is fun to eat. It’s light, healthy, and perfect for prepping ahead—just keep it chilled until you’re ready to serve!

Ingredients for 4th Of July Fruit Salad

  • 1 apple, sliced and cut into star shapes – we used Pink Lady Apples or use your favorite type of apple
  • 1 lb strawberries, quartered
  • 1 lb blueberries

Step By Step Instructions

STEP ONE – Prepare the Strawberries – Rinse strawberires and cut into quarters. Place in large mixing bowl.

Blueberries are added to the bowl with strawberries.
Sliced apples are cut into stars using small star-shaped cookie cutter.

STEP TWO – Rinse the blueberries and add to the bowl with the strawberries. Toss gently to mix.

STEP THREE – Wash the apple and cut into slices. Use a small star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out stars from the apple slices.

STEP FOUR – Add the apples to the bowl with the other fruit. Toss gently to mix being careful not to crush the fruit.

STEP FIVE – Chill, then serve & enjoy!

Tips for Preparing In Advance

  • To keep the apples from browning, prepare a lemon water bath by combining 1 tablespoon of lemon juice with 1 cup of water in a large shallow bowl. Set it aside and dip the apple slices in as you prep the salad.

Storage Instructions

Keep leftovers stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
