Ingredients You’ll Need

3 cups Pecans, divided (1 ยฝ cups chopped, 1 ยฝ cup halves)

1 cup Brown Sugar

โ…“ cup Dark Corn Syrup

1 ยผ cup Unsalted Butter, melted & divided

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

2 teaspoons Cinnamon, divided

1 (15.25 ounce) Yellow Cake Mix

How to Make Pecan Pie Dump Cake

Pecan mixture is spread into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.

STEP ONE – Preheat your oven to 350โ„‰ and grease your baking dish with butter or a cooking spray.

STEP TWO – Add the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, ยฝ cup melted butter, vanilla, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon to a bowl and stir well.

STEP THREE – Pour the pecan mixture into your baking dish and spread out to cover the bottom.

Cake mix is sprinkled on top of the pecan mixture in baking dish.
The remaining melted butter is drizzled on top of the dry cake mix.

STEP FOUR – Then pour the cake mix on top, covering all of the pecan mixture, and then sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon on top.

STEP FIVE – Pour the ยพ cup remaining melted butter on top to cover as much of the cake mix as possible.

Remaining pecan halves are placed on top of the cake.
Baked dump cake ready to cool is fresh from the oven in baking dish.

STEP SIX – Place the halved pecans on top evenly.

STEP SEVEN – Bake for 40 minutes.

Allow to cool slightly, then serve with vanilla ice cream to enjoy!
