Tropical Margarita Recipe
If you enjoy margaritas and love peach and pineapple flavors give this refreshing drink a try in as little as 5 minutes.
Whenever you need to take a break and relax with friends serve up this crowd pleasing pineapple cocktail and let the good holiday vibes begin!
Serve with my summer appetizers like poolside dip, million dollar dip, marshmallow fluff fruit dip and white queso dip or pico de Gallo with tortilla chips.
Ingredients
- Tequila – use Gold or Silver tequila depending on your tastes
- Grand Marnier
- Peach Syrup – like Torani or Monin peach syrup brands
- Peach Pineapple Juice
- Simple Syrup – you can buy it premade or use my easy homemade recipe below
- Sugar Sprinkles – use coarse sugar, granulated sugar or coloured sugar sprinkles for glass garnish
- Salt Rim – seal salt or kosher salt for glass garnish
- Ice – use crushed ice, cubed ice or large cubes for longer melt times
Optional Garnishes
- Lime Wheel
- Peach Wedge
- Pineapple Wedge
The salt or sugar glass rim garnishes are optional, choose which one you prefer to use depending on your tastes.
Simple Syrup Recipe: Combine 1 cup of water and 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar in a small saucepan. Heat over medium, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves. For a slightly thicker syrup, let the mixture simmer for a few more minutes. Allow it to cool and store it in the fridge using an airtight container for 10 to 14 days.
How To Make Peach Pineapple Margarita
STEP ONE – Rim the edge of your glasses with a salt rim or sugar rim.
STEP TWO – Dip your glass in simple syrup and then into either the sugar or salt rim. Set to the side.
STEP THREE – Fill your glasses 3/4 of the way up full with ice.
STEP FOUR – Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously to mix.
STEP FIVE – Pour the cocktail into the ice filled glasses.
STEP SIX – Garnish with any combination of lime, peach or pineapple wedges and enjoy!
