Easy Stuffed Mushroom Recipe
The earthy mushrooms make an excellent base for easy-to-eat appetizers, offering a tender, juicy bite that pairs perfectly with the spicy, cheesy filling.
Jalapeños add just the right amount of heat for a perfect spicy kick that is balanced by the creamy cream cheese filling and crispy bacon pieces.
These crowd-pleasing, tender mushroom caps are filled with a gooey cheese mixture, combining the best of two popular appetizers, jalapeño poppers and stuffed mushrooms!
Ingredients
- Cream Cheese – softened
- Cheddar Cheese – shredded
- Bacon Pieces – or use cooked, diced bacon
- Jalapeños – finely diced
- Garlic Cloves – fresh garlic minced
- Mushrooms – white mushrooms or use your favorite mushrooms like cremini or portobello
How To Make Jalapeño Popper Stuffed Mushrooms
Step One – Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step Two – Chop the jalapeno. (keep some seeds if you want these a little bit spicy)
Step Three – Wash and remove the stems from the mushrooms.
Step Four – Add the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic, bacon, and jalapeno to a bowl, and stir to combine.
Step Five – Place the mushrooms in the baking dish, and stuff some of the mixture into each one.
Step Six – Transfer the dish to the oven, and bake for 20-25 minutes.
Step Seven – Remove from the oven and serve warm. Enjoy!
Storage And Reheating Instructions
Stuffed mushrooms are best enjoyed fresh and warm but if you have leftovers store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 4 days.
Reheat in a 350°F oven on a baking sheet for 10 to 15 minutes or in the microwave using 30 second intervals until warmed through.

8 oz mushrooms, with stems removed
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 tsp minced garlic
3 tbsp bacon pieces
1 large jalapeno, finely diced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Chop the jalapeno. (keep some seeds if you want these a little bit spicy)
