Easy Football Cupcakes Recipe
Many show up at game day events just for the food and this football cupcakes recipe will not disappoint!! Football and non football fans alike will love these delicious moist vanilla peanut butter cupcakes!!

We love football season in our house and it is great to make game day snacks and appetizers to celebrate the big game making it more fun.
These are great for dessert for the Super Bowl with our air fryer Johnsonville brats, baked chicken meatballs, air fryer bbq chicken wings, and everyones favorite snack pigs in a blanket.
Ingredients
- 13.25 oz box Betty Crocker Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix (or chocolate cake recipe of your choice, plus ingredients to make)
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups chocolate frosting
- ½ cup white frosting
Step by Step Instructions
STEP ONE – Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and prepare the cake mix according to directions.
STEP TWO – Line a cupcake pan with liners (we used brown), and fill each one about half way.
STEP THREE – Bake for 14-18 minutes, or until done.
STEP FOUR – Remove from the oven, and allow to cool completely for 1-2 hours.
STEP FIVE – Add chocolate frosting and 1M frosting tip to a pastry bag, and pipe the frosting in a back and forth motion, To resemble a football.
STEP SIX – Next add the white frosting and a small round frosting tip to a pastry bag and pipe the “laces” onto the cupcakes.
Storage and freezing instructions
Store football cupcakes in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 to 3 days.
Freeze in a single layer in a freezer-safe dish for 3 months.
Thaw at room temperature before serving.
