- 18 ounces frozen broccoli florets
- 2 stalks celery, chopped fine
- 1/2 medium yellow onion, diced
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tsp. chicken bouillon powder
- 12 ounces evaporated milk
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cups freshly shredded cheddar cheese, plus extra for topping
Step By Step Instructions


STEP ONE – Add the frozen broccoli florets to the crockpot, followed by the chopped celery and diced onion.
STEP TWO – Sprinkle in the garlic powder, nutmeg, black pepper, chicken bouillon powder and flour.
STEP THREE – Pour in the evaporated milk and chicken broth, then stir everything together until well combined.
STEP FOUR – Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours, or until the broccoli is tender.

STEP FIVE – Stir in the Parmesan and freshly shredded cheddar cheese. Continue cooking just until the cheese is completely melted and the soup is creamy.
STEP SIX – Ladle into bowls and top with extra shredded cheddar cheese before serving.
