Substitutions & Variations: You can add your favorite Southwest flavors like corn, black beans, or diced avocado for a fresh, zesty twist.
How To Make Mexican Pinwheels
Step One – In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, and fajita seasoning.
Stop Two – Divide the mixture between the 4 tortillas, and spread across them.
Step Three – Sprinkle the green chilies, cheese and black olives over the tortillas.
Step Four – Start from one end, and tightly roll the tortilla into itself, stopping when you reach the other end.
Step Five – Wrap the tortilla rolls in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1 hour, or until ready to serve.
Step Six – Remove the tortillas from the plastic wrap, and cut 1 inches off each end (and eat or discard), then cut the remainder into 1 inch pieces.
Step Seven – Arrange flat on a platter to serve. Enjoy!
Storage Instructions
These spicy tortilla rollups are best enjoyed and served on the same day. Although you can eat them the following day, the flour tortilla will soak up some of the moisture. Store them in fridge for up to 6 hours and and enjoy them later that day!
