Ingredients You’ll Need

1 cup rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
1 cup milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)
ยฝ cup plain yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt)
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 ยฝ tsp ground cinnamon
ยผ tsp ground nutmeg
1โ2 tbsp maple syrup or honey (to taste)
1 cup finely chopped apple (about 1 medium apple)
1 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans

1 large apple, peeled, cored, and diced
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp brown sugar
ยฝ tsp ground cinnamon

Step by Step Instructions



STEP ONE – In a medium bowl or jar, combine oats, milk, yogurt, chia seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sweetener. Stir well.
STEP TWO – Fold in the chopped apple.
STEP THREE – Divide the mixture into two jars or containers, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
STEP FOUR – In the morning, stir and top with nuts for crunch. Add more milk if you prefer a thinner consistency.
