    Ingredients

This recipe uses three simple ingredients that you can always find at the grocery store. The sweetness of the cake mix means that you won't even have to add any additional sweetener to the blueberries.

    • Lemon cake mix
    • Fresh blueberries
    • Butter

    Substitutions and Variations

    • Substitute two cans of blueberry pie filling in place of the fresh blueberries. You can also use frozen blueberries. Simply add them to the recipe without thawing.
    • Spread two cans of lemon curd over top of the fresh blueberries before adding the dry cake mix.
    • You may substitute the lemon cake mix for white cake mix, vanilla cake mix or yellow cake mix.

Dry cake mix is sprinkled on top of blueberries in bottom of 9x13-inch baking dish that is filled with blueberries.

Sprinkle the dry cake mix over top of the blueberries. You do not need to add anything to the cake mix. Try and sprinkle it as evenly as possible, however perfection is not required!

Our family loves this lemon bueberry dump cake. I sometimes switch things up and use blueberry pie filling instead of the fresh blueberries. You can use any pie filling!
