Holiday Pretzel Treats

This is another holiday pretzel treat that you can make with the whole family for a fun activity decorating with the kids.

The salty crunch of the pretzels complements with sweet smooth white chocolate making each bite satisfying and delicious.

Decorated like Christmas trees with sprinkles so that they are as delightful to look at on your dessert tray as they as they are to eat, to bring some instant holiday cheer! They’d look cute on a Christmas dessert board or Christmas Charcuterie Board.

Ingredients For Christmas Tree Pretzels

  • Pretzels Sticks
  • White Chocolate – white chocolate melting wafers
  • Olive Oil
  • Holiday Sprinkles – red, green, and white nonpareils

Substitutions & Variations: Change up the sprinkles with sanding sugar or add some of the kids favorite colourful candy in mini sizes.

How To Make White Chocolate Christmas Tree Pretzels

Step One – Line baking sheets (or the counter/table) with parchment paper. 

Step Two – Arrange pretzel sticks on the parchment paper, about 3-4 inches apart.

Step Three – Add olive oil to the melting wafers, then dump into a piping bag. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds. Remove and massage with your hands. Repeat this process until the chocolate is fully melted.

Step Four – Use scissors to snip off the very end of the piping bag.

Step Five – In a back and forth motion, pipe chocolate over the pretzel sticks, starting out thin on top, then gradually increasing the wideness as you go down, stopping before you hit the other end of the pretzel so that you have the “tree trunk”.

Step Six – Immediately add sprinkles.

Step Seven – Allow chocolate to set for about 20 minutes. Enjoy!

Storage Instructions

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 10 to 14 days.

Ingredients

48 pretzel sticks

7 oz container white chocolate melting wafers

1 tsp olive oil

3 tbsp red, green, and white nonpareils
