Rolo Pretzel Delights

Rolo and pretzel bites for Christmas are a popular holiday treat for good reason as they are such a great tasting fun and festive party snack for the serving platter.

Rolo candies are melted into the salty pretzels and a pecan on top adds a delightful rich nutty flavor to complete this holiday Turtle classic. I must admit Turtle recipes are my weakness!!

These homemade Rolo pretzels with pecan always remind me of the taste of many of our holiday favourite chocolate pecan snacks we love to get in our stockings.

They are great for gift giving or stocking stuffers like my Christmas popcorn!

  • Pretzel Snaps
  • Rolos
  • Pecans

How To Make Rolo Pretzel Pecans

STEP ONE – Preheat the oven to 275 F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

STEP TWO – Lay the pretzel snaps out onto the tray in a single layer, spacing them out about 1-inch apart.

STEP THREE – Top each pretzel with an unwrapped Rolo.

STEP FOUR – Transfer the tray into the preheated oven and bake for 2-4 minutes, just until the chocolate softens. Do not over bake it. The Rolos should hold its shape and not be fully melted.

STEP FIVE – Remove the pretzels from the oven and immediately top each one with a pecan halve. Gently press it down into the Rolo so that it sticks and the chocolate spreads.

STEP SIX – Allow to cool completely on the counter before serving. You can place them in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to help speed up the process. Enjoy!
