Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 yellow onion, diced
1 Tablespoon hamburger seasoning
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, divided
12 slices Swiss cheese
4-5 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
12 Slider rolls (we used King’s Hawaiian)
2 Tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, onion, hamburger seasoning, and 1 tsp garlic powder. Cook until no longer pink, breaking up meat as it cooks.
- Slice the rolls in half, then add them into a casserole dish.
- Top rolls with 6 slices of cheese.
- Evenly distribute the ground beef mixture on top of the cheese, then the mushrooms. Top with the remaining 6 slices of cheese.
- Cover with the top half of the rolls.
- Melt the butter, then add the remaining ½ tsp of garlic powder. Brush mixture over the top of the rolls.
- Cover the dish with foil, transfer to the oven, and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil, and bake for an additional 3 minutes.
- Cut into 12 sliders. Serve warm, and enjoy!
