Description

These Mushroom and Swiss Sliders are the ultimate bite-sized indulgence, featuring juicy ground beef layered with savory mushrooms and gooey melted Swiss cheese. Nestled in soft slider buns, they deliver a burst of rich, comforting flavors in every bite.

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef

1/2 yellow onion, diced

1 Tablespoon hamburger seasoning

1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, divided

12 slices Swiss cheese

4-5 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced

12 Slider rolls (we used King’s Hawaiian)

2 Tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, onion, hamburger seasoning, and 1 tsp garlic powder. Cook until no longer pink, breaking up meat as it cooks.
  3. Slice the rolls in half, then add them into a casserole dish.
  4. Top rolls with 6 slices of cheese.
  5. Evenly distribute the ground beef mixture on top of the cheese, then the mushrooms. Top with the remaining 6 slices of cheese.
  6. Cover with the top half of the rolls.
  7. Melt the butter, then add the remaining ½ tsp of garlic powder. Brush mixture over the top of the rolls.
  8. Cover the dish with foil, transfer to the oven, and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil, and bake for an additional 3 minutes.
  9. Cut into 12 sliders. Serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

Storage: Allow sliders to cool to room temperature, then wrap in plastic wrap, aluminum foil, or place them in an airtight conainer in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.

Reheating: Preheat oven to 350°F. Place sliders on baking sheet, covered loosely with foil. Reheat for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melty and the sliders are heated through.
