Crockpot hamburger stroganoff uses ground beef instead of strips of beef like my traditional beef stroganoff. Slow cooking allows the beef broth, sour cream and cream of mushroom soup to create a creamy beef sauce with a rich deep flavor.

I love how simple and time saving this delicious slow cooker ground beef stroganoff with cream of mushroom soup and Worcestershire is.

It is a quick, convenient option to use especially when you do not enjoy a lot mushrooms in beef stroganoff but enjoy the creamy beef flavors of this classic comfort food.

These set-it-and-forget-it crock pot recipes are such wonderful time savers to get a homemade, hearty and satisfying meal on the table for weeknight dinners.

What To Serve With Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Traditionally served over egg noodles, you can also serve it with rice, creamy cheesy mashed potatoes, green beans almondine, cheese stuffed garlic bread, best green salad and cornbread.

Ingredients

  • Ground Beef – 1 lb. of ground beef browned, slow cooking the ground beef helps it to stay juicy and moist
  • Cream of Mushroom Soup – can of cream of mushroom soup
  • Onion Soup Mix – packet of onion soup, convenient way to get onion flavoring
  • Beef Broth
  • Worcestershire Sauce – just a splash
  • Garlic Cloves – crushed garlic
  • Sour Cream
  • Egg Noodles – 10 oz for serving with ground beef stroganoff

Variations: You can add in sliced onions and sliced mushrooms depending on your tastes.

STEP ONE- Spray your crock pot with non-stick spray.
STEP TWO – In your crock pot, combine browned ground beef, mushroom soup, onion soup mix, beef broth, worcestershire sauce, and garlic.
STEP THREE – Cook on low for 4 hours.

1 packet of onion soup mix
1 cup beef broth
Splash of worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. Crushed garlic
1/2 cup sour cream
About 10 oz. egg noodles for serving

Spray your crock pot with non-stick spray.
In your crock pot, combine browned ground beef, mushroom soup, onion soup mix, beef broth, worcestershire sauce, and garlic.
Cook on low for 4 hours.
