  • 2 cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 14-oz jar of pizza sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

Step by Step Instructions

Biscuits are cut up on cutting board.

STEP ONE – Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

STEP TWO – Pop open both cans of biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters using kitchen shears.

Cut up biscuits are placed in bottom of baking dish.
Sauce and grated cheese are placed on top of the biscuits in baking dish.

STEP THREE – Arrange the biscuit pieces evenly across the bottom of the baking dish, keeping them in a single layer.

STEP FOUR – Spoon the pizza sauce over the biscuit pieces, spreading it out evenly.

STEP FIVE – Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top, then add pepperoni slices.

STEP SIX – Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, or until the biscuits are puffed up, cooked through, and the cheese is golden and bubbly. Check the center of the dish to make sure the dough is fully cooked.

STEP EIGHT – Serve with extra pizza sauce on the side, for dipping, if desired.
