    7 Layer Cranberry Magic Bars

    A holiday twist on the traditional magic bars, these Christmas 7 Layer Cranberry Magic Bars are loaded with white and dark chocolate chips, dried cranberries, mini marshmallows, coconut and pecans.

    Baked using sweet condensed milk on top of a graham cracker crust, these Eagle Brand magic bar sweet treats will be the first to be scooped up from a holiday baking tray!

    Cranberry coconut magic bars or seven layer magic bars are the ultimate magic bars to enjoy during the holiday season. You can call them Christmas magic bars that taste like cranberry chocolate bars that are a perfect addition to your holiday dessert tray for magic bar lovers.

    I love traditional magic bars and have always enjoyed Eagle Brand cookie bars so I wanted to try making 7 layer magic bars featuring white and dark chocolate, much like chocolate magic bars.

    The results for the dried cranberry bars were excellent I think you can say these are a big hit easy to make cranberry bars. These bright, tart cranberry bars are balanced by sweetness of the coconut. Then the gooey melt of the marshmallows and double chocolate layer pairs so well with the nutty crunch from the pecans.

    Its magic bar heaven in every delicious bite!

    This is such a great last-minute holiday cranberry graham cracker dessert to throw together. Once the crumb crust is pressed into the baking dish, it's as simple as layering the remaining Eagle Brand cookie bars ingredients and baking for 25 minutes.

    • Graham cracker crumbs - you can buy them in crumb form ready-made, or buy Graham Crackers and process in a food processor until they are a fine crumb.
    • Butter
    • Coconut
    • Pecans
    • White and chocolate chips

    Substitutions for Eagle Brand magic cookies bar recipe

    You can substitute walnuts for the pecans in the cranberry pecan bars recipe.

    Use your favorite chocolate chips mix if you do not want to make cranberry white chocolate magic bars or dark chocolate cranberry magic bars.

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and graham crumbs.

    Press mixture evenly into the bottom of prepared baking dish.

    Sprinkle with chopped pecans, chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, dried cranberries, coconut and mini marshmallows. Press down firmly.

    Pour ⅔ of the can of Eagle Brand condensed milk over top of the crust.

    Pour remaining condensed milk over top.

    Baked in 350°F oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Cool completely before cutting into bars.

    • Allow the to cool completely before cutting into bars
    • These cranberry marshmallow magic bars will dry out easily make sure to keep them well covered at all times

    Storage and freezing instructions for coconut magic bars

    Store in an airtight container for 3 days at room temperature or in the fridge for 5 to 7 days. It's a good idea to use parchment paper to separate the magic bar layers for easier serving.

    Freeze using a freezer-safe container with parchment paper in between any cranberry bar layers for 1 to 2 months.

    Thaw in the fridge or at room temperature before serving.

    Ingredients

    2 cups graham wafer crumbs

    ¾ cup butter, melted

    1 can (300ml) Eagle Brand condensed milk

    ¾ cup chocolate chips

    ¼ cup white chocolate chips

    1 cup dried cranberries

    1 cup flaked coconut

    1 cup mini marshmallows


    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
    2. In large mixing bowl, combine graham crumbs with butter.
    3. Press mixture evenly into prepared baking dish.
    4.  Pour ⅔ of the can of Eagle Brand condensed milk over top of the crust.
    5. Sprinkle with chopped pecans, chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, dried cranberries, coconut and mini marshmallows.  Press down firmly.
    6. Pour remaining condensed milk over top.
    7. Bake in 350°F oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until lightly browned.
    8. Cool thoroughly before cutting into bars.
    9. Store covered at a room temperature.

      The combination of flavors in these pretty cranberry magic bars is DIVINE! I love how the sweetened condensed milk bakes into the graham cracker crust and contrasts with the tangy flavor of the cranberries. So tasty!
