Ingredients
- Oreo Cookies – 25 Double Stuf Oreo’s
- White Melting Wafers – 10 ounce package of white melting wafers or use white chocolate chips and vanilla almond bark
- Candy Eyeballs – 50 candy eyeballs
For different mummy cookie variations use any flavor or variety of Oreo’s and change up the size of the candy eyeballs. Use mini M&M’s, coloured candy melts, sprinkles and candy corn for more mummy decorations.
How To Make Oreo Mummies
STEP ONE – Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set to aside
STEP TWO – Place the white melting wafers in a microwave safe piping bag and microwave on a low or defrost setting using 30 second increments. Massage the bag each time you check on it. Once melted allow to cool for 3 to 5 minutes until the bag is cool to touch.
STEP THREE – Lay the Oreo’s out the prepared baking sheet, spacing them out a few inches apart.
STEP FOUR – Snip a small piece off the tip of the piping bag and then drizzle the bandages onto the Oreo mummies from left to right.
STEP FIVE – Immediately add the candy eyes before it sets. This first layer will help it stick.
STEP SIX – After you added the eyes go back over all of the cookies and drizzle on more bandages. Go diagonally in different directions and make it fun.
STEP SEVEN – Allow them to set completely before serving. To speed up the setting time you can refrigerate for 15-30 minutes until all the bandages are set.
Storage Instructions
Store at room temperature using an airtight container for up to 5 days or in the fridge for 12 days.
