No-Bake Peanut Butter Pie

This easy No Bake Peanut Butter Pie recipe is loaded with smooth, velvety peanut butter flavor and the best chocolate Oreo crust. For more peanut butter goodness I topped it with pieces of Reese peanut butter cups and chocolate sauce. This crowd pleasing, creamy rich treat is one of the most popular satisfying, holiday desserts that’s a hit with everyone!!

This best ever dessert is as good as my Chessman banana pudding, no bake chocolate lasagna, strawberries and cream Swiss roll, mini pecan pies and my old fashioned peach cobbler.

Chocolate peanut butter pie no bake

Is there anything better than a classic homemade fluffy peanut butter pie?

I first tried this at a Thanksgiving dinner and one bite made me instantly forget about all the other desserts I was dreaming of. It’s that good!!!

If this bakeless Reese’s peanut butter cup pie was not tempting and delicious enough it pairs with a buttery chocolate Oreo crust. Then deliciously drizzled with a chocolate sauce and a melted peanut butter garnish.

This must-try dessert will be on repeat and is much loved served at potlucks, birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas or my favorite excuse as a Sunday dinner dessert.

Ingredients

Ingredients photo of peanut butter pie.

Oreo Crust

  • Oreo Cookie Crumbs – 2 cups
  • Butter – melted

Peanut Butter Filling

  • Cream Cheese – 16 ounces, I used Philadelphia cream cheese softened at room temperature
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Creamy Peanut Butter – creamy peanut butter is the best to use like a Gif or Skippy
  • Vanilla Extract – pure vanilla extract provides the best flavor but use what you have
  • Heaving Whipping Cream

Topping or Garnish (is optional but makes it more memorable)

  • Reese Peanut Butter Cups – cut into pieces placed on top
  • Chocolate Sauce – drizzled on top
  • Melted Peanut Butter – drizzled on top

Variations: Sometime I like to serve it without any toppings. For even more peanut butter flavor you can add some peanut butter chips, crushed peanuts and Reese pieces to the topping. Drizzle some melted peanut butter on top with or without the chocolate sauce depending on your tastes.

Sandra’s Top Tips

  • If you are going to use a natural peanut butter make sure to stir it extremely well so it does not separate in the pie
  • If you do not want to whip or use the heavy cream you can use store bought cool whip, but leave out the powdered sugar as the pie will be too sweet
  • Make sure to chill for at least 4 hours before serving
  • I like to make it ahead of time the day before to chill overnight in the fridge
  • If serving without the toppings you can serve it with some whipped cream or cool whip on top or on the side with chocolate shavings
