These rice krispie treats have a secret ingredient. Well, not so much of a secret ingredient since it's written in the title - ha! The white chocolate and sprinkles were a big hit with our family and I hope that you enjoy them too!
Traditional Rice Krispie treats are made with marshmallows, however this easy recipe is made with marshmallow fluff. The fluff makes them a little softer and less chewy than a Rice Krispie treat made with marshmallows.

- Rice Krispies
- Marshmallow Fluff
- Vanilla extract
- White or dark chocolate for dipping
How to make Rice Krispie Treats with Marshmallow Fluff

Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray, or grease lightly with butter.
Place Rice Krispies in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.
In a large saucepan, melt butter over low-medium heat. Stir in marshmallow fluff and continue to cook over low-medium heat for one minute, stirring constantly until the butter is mixed into the marshmallow fluff. Stir in 1 and ½ teaspoons of vanilla.
Pour marshmallow mixture on top of the Rice Krispies and stir until well combined.
Transfer mixture to prepared 9x-13-inch baking dish. Use a spatula to flatten and smooth out the Rice Krispies mixture.
Cut Rice Krispie treats into squares.
Place white chocolate in a small, microwave-safe mixing bowl. Melt chocolate in microwave by heating for 20 seconds at a time, stirring between intervals, until melted.
Dip one end of the Rice Krispie treat into the melted chocolate, then sprinkle with colored sprinkles. Place on piece of parchment paper until set.
Storage & Freezing Instructions
Store Rice Krispie treats in an airtight storage container for up to 3 days.
These treats also freeze well in a freezer-safe container between layers of parchment paper for up to two months.
