How to Make Melted Snowman Peanut Butter Cookies
STEP ONE – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
STEP TWO – In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
STEP THREE – Beat in the egg and vanilla. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
STEP FOUR – Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
STEP FIVE – Gently flatten each ball with a fork in a crisscross pattern. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
STEP SIX – Once the cookies are completely cool, melt the white chocolate or candy melts according to package instructions. Dip the top half of each cookie into the melted white chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off.
STEP SEVEN – Place a marshmallow on the white chocolate near the edge of the cookie to create the snowman’s head.
STEP EIGHT – Before the white chocolate sets, press three M&Ms onto each cookie for buttons and two pretzel halves on either side of the cookie for arms. Let the cookies set completely.
STEP NINE – Use a small amount of melted white chocolate as glue to attach two round black sprinkles for eyes.
STEP TEN – Add orange jimmy for a nose, and five black jimmys for the mouth on each marshmallow.
Serve: Once the chocolate has set, your Melted Snowman Peanut Butter Cookies are ready to be enjoyed!
