Description

This easy White Queso Dip recipe is so delicious and smooth, that is just as good as the queso at our favorite Mexican restaurants. Perfect for a comforting, warm and gooey cheese dip for a snack or the best appetizer to get the party started at family gatherings or football game parties!!

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese

16 oz white American cheese

1 Tablespoon unsalted butter

4 ounces diced green chiles

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1-2 teaspoon minced jalapenos

1/2 cup low fat milk

Chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Cut the American cheese into smaller cubes and add them into the slow cooker.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese, butter, peppers, milk and cumin.
  3. Set the slow cooker to high and cook for 1 hour. Sir the mixture every 15 minutes.
  4. Garnish the queso with cilantro or even some sliced jalapeños and enjoy with tortilla chips or any other dipping foods!!!

Notes

Storage and reheating instructions:

Store any leftovers (we never have any!!) once cooled in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Reheat in a microwave-safe dish with 30 second intervals stirring each time until heated through. Or in a pan over a low heat on the stove stirring often until heated through.

You can also reheat it in the crockpot on a low heat, stirring occasionally until heated through.
