Description

This easy, 3 ingredient Ghirardelli white hot chocolate mix recipe is sure to impress any guests at Christmas or perfect to enjoy while watching movies or for a cozy warm up after any holiday activities! Once you start making this delicious, decadent and smooth White Hot Chocolate at home, you will never use a white hot chocolate mix again!


Ingredients

4 cups whole milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

8 ounces good quality white chocolate, chopped


Instructions

  1. Warm milk on medium heat in a saucepan for 5 minutes, careful not to bring to a boil.
  2. Add vanilla and chocolate to warm milk and continue to heat stirring regularly until chocolate is melted.
  3. Pour hot chocolate into mugs and top with marshmallows or whipped cream.

Notes

Storage:

Leftover hot chocolate can be stored in the fridge using in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days. Best to store without adding any toppings.

To reheat cold hot chocolate place in a small pan on the stove over a medium-low heat, stirring regularly until warmed. Pour in your mug, add any toppings then its ready to serve.
