Ingredients
4 cups whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
8 ounces good quality white chocolate, chopped
Instructions
- Warm milk on medium heat in a saucepan for 5 minutes, careful not to bring to a boil.
- Add vanilla and chocolate to warm milk and continue to heat stirring regularly until chocolate is melted.
- Pour hot chocolate into mugs and top with marshmallows or whipped cream.
Notes
Storage:
Leftover hot chocolate can be stored in the fridge using in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days. Best to store without adding any toppings.
To reheat cold hot chocolate place in a small pan on the stove over a medium-low heat, stirring regularly until warmed. Pour in your mug, add any toppings then its ready to serve.
