Description

This Pizza Dip recipe puts all the gooey delicious pizza ingredients we love into a creamy cheesy dip enjoyed with bread or tortilla chips. Cream cheese is seasoned with Italian spices then pizza sauce is topped with 2 melted cheeses and pepperoni for your favorite classic pizza taste!!

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

3/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese, divided

1 cup pizza sauce

Finely diced green pepper, to taste

Finely diced red onion, to taste

Sliced black olives, to taste

Mini pepperonis, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

  2. With a hand mixer, blend cream cheese, sour cream, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder on speed 3 until creamy and fully blended.

  3. Stir in ½ cup mozzarella cheese and ½ cup parmesan cheese.

  4. Place the cheese mixture into a 10-inch cast iron skillet and spread it out.

  5. Pour the pizza sauce on top.

  6. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and then green peppers, onions, olives and pepperoni (or whichever toppings you prefer!).

  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  8. Top with parsley. This dip is pretty hot straight from oven. Give it 5 minutes to cool, the dig in!

Notes

How long will pizza dip last? Pizza dip can be stored covered with plastic wrap or foil in the fridge for 3 to 5 days.

We do not recommend freezing pizza dip.
