Description

The only thing better than a classic chocolate chip cookie is one with a sweet surprise inside—an Oreo! These Oreo-Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies are rich, indulgent, and packed with double the cookie goodness in every bite.

Ingredients

3/4 cup Butter, softened

1 cup Granulated Sugar

1 1/2 cups Flour

2 tablespoon Cornstarch

1 teaspoon Baking Powder

1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda

1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

1/2 cup White Chocolate Chips

18 Oreos, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350℉ and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar.
  3. Add the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and baking soda to the butter mixture and stir until there are no dry patches.
  4. Then add in all of the chocolate chips and two crushed oreos, gently stir these into the dough.
  5. Using your 2 tablespoon cookie scoop, scoop out 9 cookie dough balls. Place 6 on your baking sheet, break the other 3 in half to make 1 tablespoon sized cookie dough balls.
  6. Press 1 whole oreo on top of each of the 6 two tablespoon cookie dough balls, wrapping the dough up the sides. Then place 1 one tablespoon cookie dough ball on top and press it down onto the oreo to finish completely covering the oreo.
  7. Repeat the steps to cover 6 full oreos, then bake for about 14 minutes, or until starting to golden on the bottom and edges. Let cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet, then move to a cooling rack to finish cooling before enjoying.
  8. Repeat steps 5-7 until you run out of cookie dough and Oreos.
