Description

This quick and easy Meatball Marinara Bites recipe has the crave worthy flavors of savory baked meatballs topped in marinara sauce and melted cheese. These bite-sized appetizers offer delicious Italian meatball flavors, perfect for game day snacks or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

32 oz frozen meatballs

1 cup marinara sauce - we used Bertolli brand

8 ounces Mozzarella Cheese, freshly shredded (melts better)

2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Bake the meatballs according to package directions. (We used Great Value, and preheated the oven to 350 degrees, and baked meatballs for 15 minutes)
  3. Chop the parsley.
  4. Remove the meatballs from the oven, and switch to broil.
  5. Spoon a little bit of marinara sauce over the meatballs, then top with cheese.
  6. Broil for about 2 minutes until the cheese is bubbly, watching closely to not burn them.
  7. Remove the meatballs from the oven, top with parsley, and insert a toothpick into the center of each for easy handling.

Notes

Storage and reheating instructions:

Store leftover meatballs in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 4 days.

Reheat in a 350°F oven on a baking sheet for 10 to 15 minutes on the stovetop in a skillet on low heat for 5 to 7 minutes or in the microwave using 30 second intervals until warmed through.
