Description
This quick and easy Meatball Marinara Bites recipe has the crave worthy flavors of savory baked meatballs topped in marinara sauce and melted cheese. These bite-sized appetizers offer delicious Italian meatball flavors, perfect for game day snacks or holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
32 oz frozen meatballs
1 cup marinara sauce - we used Bertolli brand
8 ounces Mozzarella Cheese, freshly shredded (melts better)
2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Bake the meatballs according to package directions. (We used Great Value, and preheated the oven to 350 degrees, and baked meatballs for 15 minutes)
- Chop the parsley.
- Remove the meatballs from the oven, and switch to broil.
- Spoon a little bit of marinara sauce over the meatballs, then top with cheese.
- Broil for about 2 minutes until the cheese is bubbly, watching closely to not burn them.
- Remove the meatballs from the oven, top with parsley, and insert a toothpick into the center of each for easy handling.
Notes
Storage and reheating instructions:
Store leftover meatballs in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 4 days.
Reheat in a 350°F oven on a baking sheet for 10 to 15 minutes on the stovetop in a skillet on low heat for 5 to 7 minutes or in the microwave using 30 second intervals until warmed through.
