Description

These 7 layer dip cups are a fun, crowd-pleasing appetizer loaded with all your favorite taco toppings—seasoned refried beans, guac, sour cream, salsa, shredded cheese, olives, juicy tomatoes, and a garnish of cilantro, green onions or a few jalapeños for kick. It’s a flavor-packed, Tex-Mex inspired dip that’s super satisfying and perfect for parties, potlucks, or any time you’re feeding a hungry crowd.


Ingredients

1 can refried beans

1 package taco seasoning

1 cup guacamole

8 ounce sour cream

1 cup chunky salsa

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 Roma tomatoes, diced

2 Tablespoons sliced olives

Cilantro or sliced green onions for garnish (optional)

Tortillas for dipping
Also needed:

9oz clear plastic cups


Instructions

  1. Mix the taco seasoning and the refried beans in a small bowl until well combined.
  2. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of each layer into the clear plastic cups, starting with the refried bean mixtured, followed by the guacamole, salsa, then shredded cheese.

  3. Top with diced tomatoes and black olives.

  4. Garnish with cilantro. (or green onions)

  5. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve. 

  6. Serve with tortilla chips & enjoy!

Notes

Storage Instructions

Refrigerator: While this dip is definitely best enjoyed fresh, you can keep any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Just be sure to cover the cups tightly with plastic wrap or pop them into an airtight container.

Freezer: Freezing isn’t the best option for these dip cups—the layers don’t hold up well after thawing, so it’s best to enjoy them while they’re fresh!
