If you love restaurant-style baked potatoes, then you’re going to love these easy air fryer baked potatoes! The air fryer cooks the potatoes perfectly crispy skin and fluffy insides. With just a few simple steps, I will show you how to make the best baked potatoes you’ve ever had!
Ingredients
4 medium russet potatoes
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
Sprinkle pepper
Optional Garnish and flavoring
Butter (optional)
sour cream (optional)
2 Tablespoons chives (optional)
Instructions
- Scrub potatoes under cold running water then thoroughly dry with a towel.
- Poke the top of the potato five or six times with a sharp paring knife. Rub with oil and sprinkle all over with salt.
- Add the potatoes to the air fryer basket.
- Cook the potatoes in air fryer at 400°F for 40 to 50 minutes, rotating after 30 minutes. Test them with a fork. The fork should easily slide through to the center. Small potatoes will take less time and larger potatoes may take longer.
- Carefully transfer the potatoes to a plate and serve immediately.

Storage instructions: Store cooled potatoes in an airtight container, or wrapped in plastic wrap for three to four days.
Freezing instructions: To freeze, wrap cooled potatoes in aluminum foil and place in an airtight container for up to three months.
