Description

These Crockpot Country Style Pork Ribs are fall-apart tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Slow-cooked in a mix of BBQ sauce, Coke, and spices, the ribs develop a sweet, tangy glaze that’s absolutely irresistible. With only 10 minutes of prep, this easy slow cooker recipe is perfect for busy weeknights or weekend comfort meals that taste like they took all day to make.

Ingredients

4 lbs country style pork ribs

2 onions, sliced

12 oz can coke

1 1/2 cup BBQ sauce, divided

2 tablespoons brown sugar, for a stickier glaze

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to desired spice

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the pork ribs and onions into crockpot.
  2. Add the coke, 1 cup BBQ sauce, brown sugar, cayenne, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the ribs and onions.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 6-8 hours, until the meat is tender.
  4. Optional step: Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Lightly grease with cooking spray and lay ribs in a single layer. Brush with remaining sauce and then broil for a few minutes until sauce browns and caramelizes.
