Cranberry Bliss Bars (Starbucks Copycat)

Description

This popular Starbucks Copycat Cranberry Bliss Bars recipe, filled with holiday flavors is one of the most irresistible treats for autumn or the festive season. Starbucks bliss bars perfectly balance sweet and tart, with a moist chewy blondie, tart dried cranberries, white chocolate pieces and a luscious cream cheese frosting!


Ingredients

3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 cups brown sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup dried cranberries

4 ounces white baking chocolate, chopped

Icing

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup butter, softened

2 tablespoons milk

5 cups powdered sugar

Zest of 1/2 an orange

1/2 cup dried cranberries

4 ounces white baking chocolate


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. 
  2. In a mixing bowl using an electric mixer mix together the butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Mix in the eggs and vanilla.
  4. Stir in the flour, baking powder, ginger, salt, cranberries and white chocolate.
  5. Line a 9×13 with parchment paper.
  6. Pour in the batter and smooth out.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Set aside to cool completely. 
  9. Meanwhile make the icing: In a large bowl using an electric mixer whip together the cream cheese, butter, milk, powdered sugar and orange zest.
  10. Spread the icing over the top.
  11. Sprinkle with more cranberries.
  12. In a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals melt the white chocolate.
  13. Add the melted white chocolate to a piping bag or ziploc bag with the corner snipped off.
  14. Drizzle the white chocolate all over the top of the bars.
  15. Set aside to let the chocolate harden.
  16. Slice into triangles and serve. Enjoy!

Notes

Storage instructions:

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 4 to 5 days in the refrigerator.

To freeze after you cut them into triangles or squares wrap the individual pieces in wrap or use a freezer-safe container (separate any stacked layers with parchment paper) to freeze for 2 to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight before serving.
