Description

These Cranberry Turkey Pinwheels are a fun, make-ahead appetizer that’s perfect for holiday gatherings or quick weeknight snacks. Soft tortillas are layered with creamy cheese, sweet cranberry sauce, turkey, lettuce, and Havarti, then sliced into festive bite-sized pinwheels everyone will love.


Ingredients

3 large burrito-size tortillas

3/4 cup cranberry sauce

6 oz cream cheese, softened

9-10 slices deli turkey

6-8 leaves leafy lettuce

6 slices Havarti cheese

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

2 green onions


Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth.
  2. Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the tortilla.
  3. Add a couple of spoonfuls of cranberry sauce, spreading lightly.
  4. Layer 3 turkey slices along the lower third of the tortilla, followed by lettuce leaves and two slices of Havarti cheese.
  5. Roll the tortilla up tightly, starting from the bottom.
  6. Place the rolled tortilla in the freezer for 15 minutes to firm up.
  7. Slice into ½–1 inch pinwheels, wiping the knife clean between cuts.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onion and serve.
