Description

If you can’t decide between cookies, brownies, or Oreos, you don’t have to. These chocolate chip cookie Oreo brownies layer all three into one rich, over-the-top dessert that’s guaranteed to impress. With a soft cookie base, a creamy Oreo center, and a fudgy brownie topping, every bite is indulgent and completely irresistible.


Ingredients

For the Chocolate Chip Cookie Layer

2 cups (10.6oz, 300g) all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon table salt

1 cup (8oz, 225g) unsalted butter, softened

3/4 cup (5.3oz, 150g) brown sugar

1/2 cup (3.5oz, 100g) granulated sugar

1 egg

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup (6.2oz, 175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup (1.8oz, 50g) large flake oats

For the Oreo Cookie Layer

12 double stuffed Oreo cookies (or any chocolate sandwich cookie)

For the Brownie Layer

2/3 cup (3.2oz, 90g) cocoa powder

1/2 cup (2.6oz, 75g) all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon table salt

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

3/4 cup (6oz, 175g) unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup (3.5oz, 100g) brown sugar

1/2 cup (3.5oz, 100g) granulated sugar

2 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

1/2 cup (3.1oz, 88g) chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×9 pan and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a stand mixer, beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mix until smooth.
  4. Add dry ingredients and mix until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and oats.
  5. Press dough evenly into the pan.
  6. Add Oreo cookies in a single layer on top.
  7. In a bowl, whisk cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  8. In another bowl, mix melted butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla.
  9. Stir in cocoa mixture until thick. Fold in chocolate chips.
  10. Spread brownie batter evenly over Oreos.
  11. Bake 40–45 minutes until mostly set.
  12. Cool completely before slicing.
