Ingredients

3 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 onion, diced

2 carrots, chopped

2 celery stalks, chopped

2 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup flour

3 cups chicken broth

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 can (16.3 ounces) Pillsbury Grands Biscuits, cut into quarters

1 cup frozen peas

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle flour over vegetables and stir for 2 minutes.
  4. Gradually stir in chicken broth and milk, ensuring no lumps remain. Add poultry seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Simmer until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes. Stir in shredded chicken and frozen peas.
  5. Place quartered biscuit pieces evenly on top of the chicken mixture.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
