Ingredients
- 4 to 5 medium green apples, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (from a jar or homemade)
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 1 and 1/2 sticks ( 12 Tablespoons) butter, melted
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

Grease a 13×9 baking dish

Add chopped apples and cinnamon to the baking dish. Stir to coat apples in cinnamon.

Spread apple mixture along the bottom of the pan

Pour caramel sauce over apples

Top with yellow cake mix. Be sure to cover the apples completely with the cake mix.

Sprinkle with chopped pecans

Pour melted butter on top, covering the cake mix

Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes, until the apples are cooked throughout and the topping is bubbling and starting to brown. Serve warm.
