Description

This Caramel Apple Bark is an easy no-bake fall treat made with crisp apples, chocolate, caramel, and crunchy pretzels. It’s perfect for Halloween parties, football weekends, and holiday dessert trays.

Ingredients

12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup mini twist pretzels

1-2 granny smith apples

1/4 cup caramel sauce

Optional but recommended- lime juice to soak the apples

Instructions

  1. Chop the granny smith apples, and soak in lime juice, if desired.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment and set aside.
  3. Add the chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 second increments, stirring well in between, until melted.
  4. Add 3/4 of the melted chocolate to the parchment lined pan and smooth out evenly to make the base of your bark.
  5. Add pretzels to the melted chocolate, then add the chopped apples.
  6. Drizzle with caramel, and the remaining melted chocolate.
  7. Freeze the bark for 2 hours, then cut into pieces and enjoy.
